Diamondite Restore & Protect Headlight Kit comes in two-parts, the Diamondite Headlight Oxidation Remover, and the Diamond Ceramic Headlight Clear Coating. Together they remove oxidation from plastic and then adds a layer of ceramic protection. This process is all done in minutes with protection that could last years.
The first step in the Diamondite Restore & Protect Headlight Kit is to use the Diamondite Headlight Oxidation Remover. The Diamondite Headlight Oxidation Remover chemically strips oxidative materials from plastic using a non-hazardous, non-solvent formula that does not harm the surrounding paint. This clears the headlights, making them look better and allows for the next step for better optical clarity. To use Diamondite Headlight Oxidation Remover rub the saturated wipe in a circular motion evenly across the headlight. When you see the amber-brown discoloration, it shows that it is working. Repeat as many times as needed.
For part two, use the Diamond Ceramic Headlight Clear Coating. The Diamond Ceramic Headlight Clear Coating works to restore optical clarity and produce a hard, durable finish. Not only that, but the surface will be one of a high gloss that promotes water beading. The water beading will help keep contaminants from sticking. Diamond Ceramic Headlight Clear Coating will also provide the ceramic protection that will help keep the headlight from cracking, peeling, discoloring, or delaminating. To apply part two, wipe Diamond Ceramic Headlight Clear Coating onto the headlight, starting at the top and working your way down using horizontal path lengths, parallel to the ground with slight overlap. Don’t wipe away excess product and allow coatings to fully cure in one hour, being sure not to expose to moisture. Only use one wipe per headlight and wipe away if Diamond Ceramic Headlight Clear Coating makes it onto any paintwork.
DIRECTIONS:
Diamondite Oxidation Wipe – Step 1:
- Apply only on cool surfaces out of direct sunlight.
- Rub the saturated wipe in a circular motion evenly across the headlight, noting the amber-brown discoloration that indicates success.
- Repeat this step as many times as desired.
- Note, this product won’t affect any fogginess, but it will prepare the surface and allow step 2 to correct that.
Diamondite Coating Wipe – Step 2:
- Gloves are recommended for application.
- Apply only on cool surfaces out of direct sunlight.
- Wipe onto headlight starting at the top and working your way down using horizontal path lengths, parallel to the ground, with slight overlap.
- Do not wipe away excess product. Coating fully cures in approximately 1 hour. Do not allow for any exposure to water or other moisture.
- Use only one wipe per headlight and do not attempt to use one wipe on two headlights; streaking will occur. If product gets onto surrounding paintwork, wipe away immediately.
